As the final leg of fashion month came to an end in Paris earlier this week, it was clear to all that the spring/summer 2024 season was an exceedingly strong outing for accessories. Supersized utility belts, retro-inspired shades and sparkling statement jewellery pervaded the runway, impeccably accentuating each look.

Just like past seasons, bags came in every shape, size and form as well as in a myriad of colours and textures. Maximalism seemed to be hot again, with many brands showing pieces that were decorated with all kinds of assorted trinkets.
